Behind a black awning on Boundary Road — next door to The Cedar — Abbey is a compact, characterful room: exposed brick with brass trim, a big framed mirror, an ornate railing by the door and a row of waiting chairs under the brickwork.

Owner-barber Muhammad and Tofik cover the full range — razor, custom, scissor and fade cuts, shampoo and conditioning, beard conditioning, and a hot-towel shave finished with a facial mask. Kids are welcome too.
