Horn Lane Barbers

A traditional Turkish barber whose walls argue with you politely — "We don't have wi-fi, we talk to each other" — above two chrome chairs and a fern-print wall.

Turkish barbering, house rules on the wall

The stations are signed "Chief" and "Master", the mottos run in English and Arabic, and the craft is classic Turkish: hot-towel shaves (one reviewer calls it the best shave ever), beard work with blade or clipper, threading, waxing and a £25 steam facial. Reviewers praise the welcome and the cleanliness, and note that long hair — not every barber's comfort zone — is handled well here.

Barber Waleed gets named twice in a single five-star review: courteous, friendly, fast, good price. Regulars report three-plus years of consistent cuts.
