Michael's Barber Shop
Thirty years on Kenway Road, and the reviews read like a family album — customers who started coming as kids and still wouldn't go anywhere else. Under the graffiti wall: black-and-chrome chairs, a late night on Thursdays, and a welcome that keeps Earl's Court coming back.
Late night Thursdays — open 'til 7.
Every other weekday shuts at six; Thursday is the after-work slot. Closed Sundays.
The shop
A Kenway Road institution since 1993.
The wall says it all: a full-length graffiti mural — "Michael's Barber Shop" in teal, red and purple — tagged EST. 1993. Below it, a row of heavyweight black-and-chrome chairs with proper wash basins, serving this corner of Earl's Court for over thirty years.
Owner Michael still replies to reviews personally, and the loyalty in them is something money can't buy: "since I was 7, now 19", "20 years of haircuts here". Kenway Road has two barbers — this is the old soul of the street.

A friendly shop with a real atmosphere — beard trims and skilled barbering praised, and prices called very good value.
